These Robin Hoods consist of 1 thousand
heavily armed militants that fight with current oil companies to take
what belongs to them. In this region people are far beyond of a poverty
limit, they don’t have electricity, tap water or any roads. And the
pollution of oil industry is so high that it is impossible to fish in
the water. So, the villagers want their part of financial rewards from
the oil industry. One should take into consideration that Nigeria has
become Africa's biggest producer of petroleum and thanks to it, the
country generates 90% of its wealth.
