you have no basis for knowing whether or not this post is infringement. they could be for public use or they could of been taken before the digital transmission act was enacted. furthermore because this person is not posting these images as their own and does keep the source in view, there may be no infringement. Do you know this person who posted this. Did you ask them if they got permission. You have no idea. And even if i am wrong, what damages are occurring because of the post. Just because somebody wants to pay thousands of dollars in legal fees so they can really let there a##hole shine and cause a simple internet blog poster loads of unnecessary trouble, doesnt make it ethical, or moral. Nor does it make people like you more because you are exhibiting the awareness of something others may not.

Hank, do you not see all the Google ads around these pictures? This is someone trying to make money off of pictures that are not theirs. Not to mention trying to popularize the page (to make money off the ads) by putting it on StumbleUpon. I urge a big thumbs-down, Stumblers.

Excellent photos - but why have you removed the captions. With no title or information much of the value of these photos is lost. Which volcano is this erupting in snow ? - Which river winds through the bare hills?
